Result for each Segment

The results are shown for each element created in the map view at the start of this page. There are 5 Layers available, A-E. All layers are also defined by the content of the following table:
Layer Name Layer Short Description Layer Long Description Layer Examples
Layer E Conventional sensing and planning infrastructure It only consists of physical elements, no digital nor communication elements are included. Infrastructure can support the perception of the physical environment of the drivers. Supporting mainly manual drivers. Conventional Traffic Management is included in this layer. road restraint systems, rumble strips, lane markings, static traffic signs, traffic lights position.
Layer D Anticipated sensing infrastructure Includes all elements of the previous layer plus the new ones listed herein.* Infrastructure can support drivers and vehicles to understand earlier their environment. Dynamic information is still not supported. HD maps become an essential element in this layer. fleet management (of conventional vehicles), C-ITS Day 1 service In-vehicle signage, infrastructure localisation assistance, static HD maps.
Layer C Enhanced sensing and primary planning support infrastructure Includes all elements of the previous layer plus the new ones listed herein.* Infrastructure can support drivers and vehicles to understand earlier their environment and in a more reliable and complementary manner. HD maps incorporate semi-dynamic information. C-ITS Day 1 services (Shockwave Damping, Hazardous Location Notification, Probe Vehicle Data). Traffic Management 2.0 Service: Proactive maintenance.
Layer B Enhanced Planning and Actuation support infrastructure Includes all elements of the previous layer plus the new ones listed herein.* Infrastructure of this layer is able to support drivers and vehicles to make better planning of their path in view of safer and more efficient driving. The layer deals with any type of dynamic information. HD maps in this layer update on the dynamic environment and provides information on the physical environment per road section. Fleet Management of connected and cooperative vehicles, C-ITS Day 1.5 services (Cooeprative Collision Risk Warning, Wrong Way Driving), C-ITS Day 2 services (Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control, Advanced Intersection Collision Warning), C-ITS Day 3 services (Cooperative Transition of Control, Cooperative merging assistance, Cooperative Lane change).
Layer A Augmented/ orchestrated acting infrastructure for mixed fleets operation Includes all elements of the previous layer plus the new ones listed herein.* Infrastructure of this layer is able to support all road users of the transport network. Digital Twins are fully detailed. This layer enables full operation of CCAM. C-ITS Day 3.5 Services (Automated Green Light Optimum Speed Advisory, Optimised Traffic Light information with V2I, Automated GLOSA with negotiation), Traffic Management 2.0 Services: Platooning support, Strategies for Collaborative Traffic Management).
